            AS31 · Series · 1997 - 2004

This series consists of minutes/meeting notes, reports, correspondence, course outlines, prospectuses and publicity materials that are concerned with the marketing, admissions, registrations, and academic quality assurance and enhancement of two Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Primary) programmes organised by the School of Foundations in Education - the two-year part-time Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Primary) ("PT PGDE(P)") programme and the one-year full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Primary) ("FT PGDE(P)") programme, between 1997 and 2004.

The PT PGDE(P) programme is the first postgraduate programme of the Hong Kong Institute of Education in which it admitted its first cohort of students in the 1998/1999 academic year, whereas the FT PGDE(P) programme was launched in the 1999/2000 academic year. The coordination of these two postgraduate programmes was taken over by the Faculty of Languages, Arts and Sciences in September 2005, when the Institute introduced a new academic structure.
