"The newsletter is about the Department of Early Childhood Education. It highlights upcoming activities, new programmes, research, and ways to promote quality early childhood education in the Hong Kong context." -- Front page of the English issue, no. 1, 2017.

The newsletter was first published in traditional Chinese in the 2015/16 academic year, with four issues published each year. Later, in 2017/18, it was changed to three issues per year. The English-language edition began in 2016/17 with one issue per year. Starting with issue no. 1 in the 2019/2020 academic year, the newsletter has been published in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
