AS33 · Series · 2000-2004

The series comprises records relating to the programme administration of the Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Primary) (Three-year Mixed Mode) (also known as "3-Year MM BEd(P)") offered by the School of Foundations in Education (“SFE”) between 2000 and 2004.

The 3-Year MM BEd(P) programme was introduced in the 2000/2001 academic year as an add-on degree for holders of the Hong Kong Institute of Education ("HKIEd")'s :
1) Certificate in Primary Education,
2) In-service Course of Training for Teachers in Primary Schools and
3) Certificate in Secondary Education.

This programme provided an alternative mode of attendance to the two-year full-time Bachelor of Education Programme implemented in September 1999, as it combined part-time evening and Saturday classes with full-time summer blocks in order to cater for teachers who work full-time. The coordination and delivery of this mixed mode programme was assumed by the Faculty of Languages, Arts and Sciences ("FLAS") in the 2005/2006 academic year, when SFE ceased to exist. The programme admitted its last cohort of students in the 2014/2015 academic year.

AS16 · Series · 2011-01-22 - 2012-07

This series consists of project proposals, design layout plans, meeting notes, correspondence, cost estimates, budget plans, questionnaires and application forms for a variety of matters, relating to the preliminary activities undertaken by the Proposed Community Creative Arts Complex Project Planning Committee in order to obtain funding from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for the proposed Community Creative Arts Complex Project ("CCA Complex Project").

The CCA Complex Project proposed to synergize the educational and artistic expertise of the Hong Kong Institute of Education ("HKIEd") with local arts organisations to enhance the cultural well-being of the north-east district of the New Territories. The ultimate goal of the CCA Complex Project, as the Project title suggests, was to lead to the construction of a Community Creative Arts Complex within HKIEd's Tai Po campus. However, the CCA Complex Project fell through and the construction was unable to come true.
