The file was maintained in the custody of a former staff of the Strategic Planning Office since the Office’s closure in July 2012 until transfer to the EdUHK Archives.

The planning context of the Strategic Plan considered the local environment as well as the broader environment beyond Hong Kong. The goal was to prepare future teachers and educators to meet the needs of the 21st-century globalised information era.
