The Management Board (MB) was established to:

• review and formulate major policies affecting the the Institite's day-to-day operations;
• monitor the effectiveness of administrative policies and operating procedures;
• assist with resource allocation;
• review, formulate and approve long range management plans; and
• improve communication among the various departments and branches of the Institute.

The MB was dissolved on 2 September 2003.

The file includes the minutes of the final meeting, a memo announcing the dissolution, and papers documenting the establishment of the MB and its governance structure at the time.
