The videos were originally created and accumulated by Dr. Chow. He released them through his YouTube channel and later donated them to the EdUHK Archives in Nov 2025.

Dr. Li graduated from The Northcote College of Education in 1976, subsequently obtaining a diploma in physical education from The Grantham College of Education's three-year programme in 1977.
He held various positions at The Northcote College of Education and its successor institutions. The highest position was Acting Head of the Department of Health and Physical Education and Adjunct Professor.
During the interviews, Dr. Li discussed the history and development of physical education.

Dr. Chow initiated an oral history project funded by external research grants, with the aim of documenting the experiences of physical education (PE) teachers who graduated from The Education University of Hong Kong or its predecessor institutions.
