This file contains records documenting space planning, allocation, and re‑organisation undertaken by the School of Foundations in Education in consultation with the Estates Office and related departments following the School’s restructuring.
The records relate to both the review and optimisation of space used by existing departments and the allocation and reorganisation of space for new or restructured departments and offices. Materials include drawings and floor plans, space allocation proposals, rationalisation and reorganisation plans, move schedules, surveys on utilisation of teaching venues, requests for allocation of rooms and additional space, and documentation relating to asset transfer to new offices. Together, the records reflect efforts to optimise the School’s use of physical space.

School of Foundations in Education.The School Teaching and Learning Quality Assurance Committee (TLQAC) was responsible for matters pertaining to strategic planning and quality in relation to teaching and learning development, proposal submission for and monitoring of the Teaching and Learning Grant projects, promotion and dissemination of good practices in teaching and learning, contribution to the annual QA report and coordination with CeLTS in relation to school-based teaching and learning development activities.
Records relating to the activities of the School TLQAC. The file includes meeting agenda and minutes for the 8th to 10th meetings, circulation papers, Chairman’s briefing papers, and related correspondence. The records document the Committee’s discussions and decisions concerning teaching and learning quality assurance, as well as preparatory and supporting materials circulated among members.
Hong Kong Institute of Education. School of Creative Arts, Sciences and Technology.The School Management Team (SMT) comprises the Dean, Associate Dean, Department Heads and Programme Leaders. The SMT members meet monthly to discuss issues related to academic matters, resources, strategies and School management. It enhances communication and consultation within the School and its constituent Departments on issues related to teaching and learning, research and implementation and new developments of all subjects and programmes.
The file includes minutes of the 14th to 20th meetings, agenda, and related correspondence. The records document the management and administrative deliberations of the School.
