Syllabuses 1984/85 for unitised courses
Part of Files relating to the development of college courses
Includes the revised syllabi of the elective subjects available for study at Northcote College of Education for the full-time two-year and three-year courses.
When both courses were introduced in September 1980, each student was required to elect for study three subjects which he/she intended to teach after graduation from the courses. With effect from September 1984, the syllabi were recast into units of study and students would only be required to study two elective subjects. It was hoped that the reduction in elective studies would pave the way for more flexibility and further improvement of the course curriculum.
