A ceremony brochure accompanied with two newspaper clippings printed with congratulatory messages for the topping-out ceremony.

On 28 May 1996, the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of Taipo Campus of HKIEd was held. The guests attending the ceremony placed in the time capsule documents and articles of historic significance relating to the establishment and early history of the Institute. The time capsule was then sealed and buried at the campus. In celebration of its 25th anniversary, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) held a ceremony on 27 May 2019 to open the time capsule.

This record series contains the time capsule itself and records of the opening ceremony in 2019.

The series currently consists of published materials of the First Assembly 1994/95 of the Hong Kong Institute of Education. The First Assembly was held on 22 September 1994 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and was officiated by the then Secretary of Education and Manpower, Mr. Michael Leung.

Includes published materials of the First Assembly 1994/95 of the Hong Kong Institute of Education, which was held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 22 September 1994.

Consists of an admission ticket, information sheets about the Hong Kong Institute of Education, programme for the First Assembly, and three transcripts of speeches given by Mr. Simon Ip, then Council Chairman; Mr. Michael Leung, then Secretary for Education and Manpower; and Prof. C. K. Leung, then Director of the Hong Kong Institute of Education.

This series is a record of the planning and room layouts of the main campus buildings at the main campus of Hong Kong Institute of Education at Tai Po. The campus buildings include the administration, academic, central Facilities and amenities Buildings, which form the core of the campus. The planning was established after six months of discussion and consultation.
P&T Architects & Engineers Ltd. was the planner of Hong Kong Institute of Education campus layouts in 1995.

On 26 February 1998, the new campus of The Hong Kong Institute of Education in Tai Po was officially opened. This series contains newspaper clippings that relate to the official opening ceremony in 1998 and the topping-out ceremony on 16 April 1997.
