The Academic Committee Board was one of the Grantham Campus Committees. This file includes the minutes from the second Academic Studies Board meeting, as well as the first meeting, which is included as Appendix F.

2) Letter addressed to the Director of the HKIEd concerning a news article published in Wah Kiu Yat Po on 5 January 1995.

This file contains documents relating to college field outing activities and the role of personal tutors, including:

1) a circular issued to personal tutors regarding the field outing in Nov. 1988;
2) a document outlining the role of personal tutors dated Nov. 1991;
3) a report on the college field outing held in Dec. 1991;
4) a schedule of programme activities for the college field outing in 1993, and
5) promotional materials related to field outing.

Towards the end of September 1993, the Task Group for Curriculum Planning for The Upgrading of the Colleges of Education was set up under the Further Education Division, Education Department. Members of the Task Group were lectures seconded from the Colleges of Education. Mrs Mak Chen Wen-ning was the convener of the Task Group.

The Task Group was assigned the task of carrying out an in-depth review of the existing curriculum of the Colleges of Education, and to pave way for the final separation of the training of primary and secondary school teachers.

This file includes draft discussion papers distributed by the Task Group in soliciting views and opinions from lecturers of the Colleges of Education regarding issues related to existing teacher education curriculum.

Also includes are miscellaneous papers from the Working Group on Academic Development of the Provisional Governing Council on the delivery mode of HKIEd programmes, and papers from the HKIEd regarding the headship posts in the Department of Social Studies.

The Coordinating Committee for Full-time Courses was one of the College/Campus Committees. This file consists of agenda for 3/94 meeting and includes the minutes of the second meeting of Coordinating Committee.

As the meeting focuses on the area of Teaching Practice, other miscellaneous documents are also included:
1) Notes to staff on supervision of teaching practice 1995;
2) Records related to Teaching Practice, such as Teacher Practice Report Forms, Checklists on Student Performance, Supervision Records, and Supervision Forms.

This file consists of the module outline and examination questions for the "Environmental Studies" module, which is part of the Certificate Course in Education (3-year full-time). It also includes the allocation of optional modules and the 1994-95 timetable.

This file includes an estimate report on the accommodation, the proposed architectural plans, and the accommodation schedule for the conversion of Tin Kwong Road Government Secondary School into a Grantham Annex for full-time courses, following the expiry of the lease on the Argyle Centre in Mong Kok.

However, this conversion did not take place.

This file includes the schedule of work and suggested topics/activities of the Complementary Programmes Project.
