校舍設計由外國和本地的建築師參與；外國建築師只提供資訊和整體概念，然後由本地建築師綜合建議後建成。學校現可容納5,000名學生，但地方其實足夠供6,000名學生使用。整個校舍並非只有單一座建築物，而是按地形彎度，興建成長形的校舍；宿舍則沿山而建，其中包括高級教職員宿舍100間，學生宿舍共750間，可容納學生1,500人，如加建宿舍，則可多容納1,000人；另有駐校職員宿舍，可容納34人。其他設施方面，圖書館共有五層，現有圖書二十多萬冊，地方足夠應付5,000名學生的教學和研究需要，未來更可作擴充。[段落摘錄自 1998年2月26日《明報》].
