The series consists of minutes and/or discussion papers of the intra-college committees, study units and working groups of Northcote College of Education.

The college committees, study units and working groups were created to advise the Principal on the organisation and content of college courses and activities, on future planning and inter-college cooperation and on domestic matters within Northcote College of Education. Some of these committees were standing while others were set up as the need arises. In some of the committees, students were also represented.

The deposit includes minutes and/or discussion papers of three standing committees of Northcote College of Education, namely, the Student Staff Co-ordination Committee, the College Consultative Council, and the Academic Studies Board.

Includes meeting particulars, reports and memoranda, on the planning, implementation and review of courses on the use of Chinese for secondary school teachers for teaching specific subjects. The courses were developed jointly by the Advisory Inspectorate of the Education Department, the Colleges of Education, the Hong Kong Technical Teachers' College, and the Institute of Language in Education.

A ceremony brochure accompanied with two newspaper clippings printed with congratulatory messages for the topping-out ceremony.
