This file comprises records relating to two interconnected areas of institutional planning activity. The first includes documentation associated with the consultancy firm engaged in strategic planning. The second includes documents and correspondence concerning the development of the Academic Programme Plan (APP).

Includes the Association's constitution and draft documents; and financial statements for the years 1966 to 1979.

This file includes the schedule of work and suggested topics/activities of the Complementary Programmes Project.

The College Consultative Council was established in 1985 to serve as a forum for exchange of opinions among the College administration, the professional staff and the students on all matters related to the improvement of the College training programmes. On the Council, all ranks of staff and full-time students in each year group and in each course were represented.

The file contains agendas, minutes and discussion papers of its meetings.

The file includes the College Committees and duty lists for the 1991/92 and 1993/94 academic years.

Includes meeting particulars, reports and memoranda, on the planning, implementation and review of courses on the use of Chinese for secondary school teachers for teaching specific subjects. The courses were developed jointly by the Advisory Inspectorate of the Education Department, the Colleges of Education, the Hong Kong Technical Teachers' College, and the Institute of Language in Education.

In June 2007 the Institute has submitted the Development Blueprint to the Government of the HKSAR for the quest of a university title. To support the effective implementation of the Development Blueprint, the Senior Management Committee on 15 August 2007 decided to set up the Blueprint Steering Committee under the President to take charge of the overall planning and development of the related tasks.
