This Working Party was set up to examine the projected demand for training of non-graduate teachers and the existing accommodation provisions available in the Colleges of Education. AD(F) served as chair of this working group.
The members included:
Assistant Director of Education (Chief Inspector of Schools);
Assistant Director of Education (Further Education);
Principal Inspector (Chinese);
Principal Inspector (English);
Vice President (Northcote College of Education);
Vice President (Sir Robert Black College of Education).
The Working Group was formed to examine the set-up and to consider the optimum future organisation of the Colleges of Education. All meetings and preparation and discussion of papers on various topics had to be completed within a three-month period.
The members included:

PCPOs Principals - member;
SEO(PL) - member;
Statistician - member; and
EO(F) - Secretary.
The Consultative Committee was established to make arrangements for the Education Department and the two Universities to coordinate teacher education in Hong Kong and to assist the Teacher Education Coordination Committee in its work of coordination.
The members included Principals of the Colleges of Education, the director of Education Department, the dean of the School of Education of the University of Hong Kong and the director of the School of Education of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The chairmanship of the Consultative Committee rotated among its members after each meeting.
Towards the end of September 1993, the Task Group for Curriculum Planning for The Upgrading of the Colleges of Education was set up under the Further Education Division, Education Department. Members of the Task Group were lectures seconded from the Colleges of Education. Mrs Mak Chen Wen-ning was the convener of the Task Group.
The Task Group was assigned the task of carrying out an in-depth review of the existing curriculum of the Colleges of Education, and to pave way for the final separation of the training of primary and secondary school teachers.
The Proposed Community Creative Arts Complex Project Planning Committee (Planning Committee) was set up by the President of the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) in 2011 to plan and formulate the overall directions and strategies for the on-campus Community Creative Arts Complex Project. The Planning Committee was chaired by Mr Chris Mong Chan, the Vice-President (Administration) of HKIEd. Professor Richard Tsang Yip-fat, the Dean of Students and Professor of Department of Cultural and Creative Arts of HKIEd, was the Deputy Chairman. It also comprised members of HKIEd and external expert advisors.
